BACKGROUND OF THE STUDY
Integrated Science remains a core science subject in junior secondary schools, also it lays foundation of science, which also determine the interest and performance of the future scientist in science. And moreover science being synonymous nation building need a solid practical approach in this present age when the expectation of the nation have been raised towards technology and its benefits. But it seems to me that the reverse is the case by the virtue of the scientist being produced presently in our schools, therefore what could have been the cause of this pandemic situations?
Integrated Science has been the bedrock of science subjects in senior secondary school such as physics, chemistry, Biology and Mathematics. However, for the adequate understanding of the above in secondary schools, Integrated Science at the Junior level must be effectively learned which could be backed up by the practical activities involved within.
For the better improvement of science and technology, the teaching of science should be given appropriate attention, right from the primary school level.
