ABSTRACT

This study attempts an enquiry into the consumers taste towards locally made goods and the effects on the Nigerian economy. The data was collected and analysed using simple percentage. From the study, it was found out that Nigerian consumers developed positive attitude towards the foreign made good with poor or low consumption on the locally made goods which is killing our economy as a nation. It is therefore recommended that Nigerian manufactures or producers should endeavour to produce internationally acceptable products to take Nigeria to the rightful position in the world market
