ENTREPRENEURIAL EDUCATION AS A TOOL FOR REDUCING UNEMPLOYMENT

 

 

ABSTRACT

In the era of shrinking economic activities, Government should endeavor to provide the necessary infrastructure political and economic environment, because without all this in place, the entrepreneur spirit and knowledge which derive economic development, through job creation will be lacking. Therefore the objectives of the research include; to examine the extent to which university education influences students’ intellectual, affective and psychomotor skills for entrepreneurship. Based on the findings of the research ,it was discovered that the current education system at higher institutions will provide the necessary impetus for development .To achieve such objectives, it is recommended that government should provide good political, economic and social objectives to encourage individual participation in the business; finance entrepreneurial education innovation fund that will provide small grants for innovative educational programs and let there be dignity of labour.
